North Pender Island Local Trust Committee Bylaw No. 240 received first reading on October 2, 2026, according to the bylaw’s signing page.[1]

The proposed amendment would add policies addressing housing options, including accessory dwelling units, clustered small-footprint housing and affordable housing.[1]

The signing page also has undated lines for a public hearing, second and third readings, approvals by the Islands Trust Executive Committee and the Minister, and adoption.[1]
