North Pender committee schedules October housing meeting
The committee requested a special meeting on October 25 to discuss its Housing Access and Affordability project.

The North Pender Local Trust Committee scheduled a special meeting for October 25, 2025, to include a community information meeting on its Housing Access and Affordability project.[1]
The committee also asked its Special Advisory Planning Commission on Housing to report back with analysis, options and recommendations on specified Housing Action Plan actions.[1]
At the July 25 meeting, staff said the project was on track and work was focused on a suitable-land and build-out analysis, possible legislative amendments, and outreach and communications.[1]
Trustees discussed public outreach, including a possible table at the fall fair or market, and staff said a pamphlet could include information about the project and the special meeting.[2]
