The proposed amendment to North Pender’s land use bylaw for the Pender Islands Housing Society received first, second and third readings at the Jan. 26 Local Trust Committee meeting, with all three motions carried.[1]
The committee also determined the bylaw was not contrary to or at variance with the Islands Trust Policy Statement and voted to forward it to the Islands Trust secretary for Executive Committee approval.[1]
After Executive Committee approval, staff are to initiate a resolution without meeting for adoption of the proposed bylaw, under a motion carried by the committee.[1]
